FEES and rebates

The following information outlines fees, funding options, and available rebates for psychological services. Please get in touch if you have any specific enquiries.

Payment Information:

• Full payment is required on the day of your appointment.

• Payment can be made via card on our online portal (Stripe) or bank transfer.

• Cancellation/reschedule fees apply for appointments that cannot be filled without 48 business hours’ (2 business days’) notice.

We endeavour to keep session charges below that which is recommended by the Australian Psychological Society ($310 per hour).

FUNDING OPTIONS

MEDICARE

Medicare rebates are available with an
eligible referral from your doctor:

• Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)

• Eating Disorder Plan (EDP)

• Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM)

Rebates are processed once full payment has been received and are generally paid out within a day or so.

Private health insurance

Your private health insurance fund may offer a rebate towards the cost of sessions.  

Please speak to your fund about your individual cover and available rebates.

Third party

As available, third party referrals
are accepted from:

• National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - self and plan managed participants only

• Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)

The cost of sessions is covered by the relevant agency under these schemes.

self funded

If you prefer, you can choose to access sessions privately. For this, no referral is necessary.

The cost of private sessions is covered in full by you and no rebates are available.
